Producer, songwriter, vocalist, and multi-instrumentalist Elare André announces the official vinyl release of his debut full-length album, MUSIC FOR ALL OCCASIONS. The project collects 13 previously released tracks, initially distributed across streaming platforms throughout 2025 and 2026 in a deliberately non-linear order, and presents them here in their intended sequence for the first time.

MUSIC FOR ALL OCCASIONS marks a defining statement from an artist known for dissolving genre boundaries and building emotionally charged, experimental pop worlds.

Rooted in alternative R&B, progressive pop, electronic experimentation, and what André has playfully termed “tainted disco,” the album exists somewhere between the club, the bedroom, and the cinematic subconscious. Drawing comparisons to artists such as James Blake, Jai Paul, Frank Ocean, Sampha, Mk.gee, Daniel Caesar, Charli XCX, and Björk, André’s sound exists in constant motion; intimate, fractured, and emotionally direct.

The result is a body of work that feels both handcrafted and expansive: music that resists perfection in favor of presence, vulnerability, and emotional immediacy.

The album’s title, MUSIC FOR ALL OCCASIONS, is intentionally ironic. André explains it as a multi-layered concept: a rejection of genre utility, a critique of mood-based listening culture, and a personal reflection on identity.

“It’s funny because there is no such thing,” André notes. “I don’t write music for a specific occasion—lounge, club, background, whatever. And for me, being queer is not something that turns off. It’s present in everything. This music carries that with it, whether it’s explicit or not.”

Across the album, queer identity is both overtly expressed and subtly embedded, shaping its emotional architecture and lyrical perspective.

Originally released as individual tracks in a deliberately scrambled order across digital platforms, MUSIC FOR ALL OCCASIONS has now been reassembled into its intended narrative flow. The vinyl edition reframes the project as a cohesive album experience; one that moves through satire, introspection, digital fatigue, love, shame, and release.

All tracks were written, produced, and performed by Eric Tempelare (Elare André), with additional lyrics and vocals by Zachary Trebellas (Fruit Punch) on “Sometimes,” the album’s only featured collaboration.

Belgium-based queer indie-pop artist shares an honest, emotional, and witty journey through identity, masculinity, heartbreak, and healing.

Belgium-based singer-songwriter ROIL announces the release of his upcoming album Living Outside the Closet. Blending indie pop, alternative textures, and deeply personal storytelling, the album captures the realities of growing up queer, learning authenticity, and finding connection after pain.

ROIL is the musical project of Ryo Sakai, a half-Thai, half-Japanese artist born in 1991 whose songwriting reflects experiences of coming out, navigating relationships, and redefining masculinity and self-worth. Across the album, ROIL balances vulnerability with humour, pairing intimate lyrics with atmospheric pop production inspired by artists such as Conan Gray, Troye Sivan, Phoebe Bridgers, Chappell Roan, and Rex Orange County.

“Living Outside the Closet is about surviving emotionally and finally allowing yourself to exist honestly,” says ROIL. “It’s about loneliness, identity, love, shame, confidence, and realising that being authentic can be painful but also freeing.”

Raised in Asia during the 2000s, ROIL grew up facing the challenges many queer teens experienced at the time — struggling with acceptance from peers, family expectations, relationships, and the process of finding independence. His musical background began early through cello and keyboards, with influences ranging from classical music and jazz to Thai rock and J-pop. Over time, his sound evolved toward British alternative and emotionally driven pop, drawing inspiration from artists and bands such as Supertramp, The Smiths, Snow Patrol, Alanis Morissette, and The Cranberries.

The album’s tracks move between melancholic confession and sharp self-awareness. Songs like “manhood” explore his complicated relationship with masculinity with both sincerity and humor, while “I don’t mind” reflects the resilience that develops after enduring judgment and emotional setbacks. Elsewhere, tracks like “Straight Guy”, “Outside the Closet”, and “Shittier Than Goodbye” tackle longing, identity, and heartbreak with raw honesty.

With a sound rooted in indie pop and alternative music, ROIL places strong emphasis on lyricism and expressive vocals, using music as both personal healing and a way to connect with listeners who may see their own stories reflected in his songs.

Multi-instrumentalist producer NMDA and vocalist/songwriter Isabelle Rose announce their powerful new single, “Stoned,” a genre-blending electrosoul release that fuses gospel intensity, electronic production, and raw emotional storytelling.

NMDA is known for redefining genre boundaries through a fluid mix of electronic production and live instrumentation. Originally a guitarist and saxophonist performing across punk rock and jam fusion scenes, he evolved into a self-taught producer whose work spans chillhop, downtempo, ambient, funk, soul, and electrofunk. Influenced by artists such as FKJ, Gramatik, Lettuce, GRiZ, and Emancipator, NMDA continues to build immersive, groove-driven soundscapes rooted in texture and emotional depth.

Vocalist Isabelle Rose brings a commanding presence shaped by jazz and classical training, as well as influences including Aretha Franklin, Janis Joplin, Susan Tedeschi, and Joss Stone. Her performances blend gospel grit, vintage soul energy, and emotional intensity, honed through years of stage experience and collaborations with acts such as Deep Banana Blackout and Funky Dawgz Brass Band.

Written in November 2025 following a turbulent travel experience, “Stoned” was created during an unexpected studio session in Denver. While driving cross country and immersing himself in a variety of music, NMDA felt inspired to bring a deeper emotional and lyrical depth through soul and blues influenced instrumentation and vocal delivery. Over months of collaboration surrounding song structure and lyrical direction, Isabelle Rose channeled inspiration from personal life experiences to deliver one of her most powerful lyrical and vocal performances to date.

What emerged instead was a deeply reflective and challenging composition addressing sexual abuse, trauma, and cyclical harm from multiple perspectives, including both survivor and perpetrator. The track intentionally broadens its lens to include all genders and the psychological “prisons” formed by unresolved trauma and inherited behavioral cycles.

Rather than presenting a singular viewpoint, “Stoned” explores the uncomfortable complexity of shared human responsibility, portraying all parties as both shaped by and trapped within the consequences of experience and action.

For Isabelle Rose, the song carries autobiographical weight informed by her lived experience as a survivor of sexual abuse, as well as her long-standing commitment to speaking openly about healing, accountability, and compassion.

Musically, “Stoned” sits at the intersection of electrosoul, gospel, and electro-orchestral production, pairing NMDA’s intricate sonic layering with Isabelle Rose’s powerhouse vocal delivery. The result is a cinematic, emotionally charged track that balances organic performance energy with precise electronic composition.

“I started writing and developing these songs around August of 2025,” says Solomon. “A lot of people close to me were leaving for school or moving into completely new chapters of their lives, and I felt stuck in this strange in-between period. Life started feeling repetitive and monotonous, but at the same time the band was growing and our show schedule was getting bigger. I made it a point to write every day instead of waiting around for inspiration to suddenly hit. Eventually, the writing process itself became the way I made sense of everything.”

That tension, between momentum and uncertainty, isolation and connection, runs through the DNA of Divine Intermission. Drawing from the jagged emotional weight of artists like Fontaines D.C., Joy Division, Protomartyr, The Murder Capital, Shame, Gang of Four, The Cure, and Wunderhorse, the EP channels themes of transition, alienation, and emotional survival into a visceral post-punk framework.

Written during her recovery from a serious illness, the song captures the push and pull between surrender and the will to keep fighting. In a metaphorical twist, the illness is personified as a captivating yet dangerous figure, one that lures and consumes. The track’s haunting, dreamlike production immerses listeners in this emotional struggle, echoing the seductive pull of despair while ultimately affirming perseverance and strength.

“The girl described in the song is the illness itself,” Sommerfield explains. “She seems perfect; you’re taken in by her, consumed by her. But the song asks: ‘Would you ever believe her when she tells you the truth?’ It’s about recognising what’s harming you and choosing to fight back.”

Produced in collaboration with Brian Squillace, “Ratata” features eerie, nightmare-inspired sound design that draws listeners into a surreal sonic landscape. A sweeping, genre-blurring collection of folk, jazz, and Latin-inflected songwriting recorded in the Costa Rican jungle

Kevin Farge returns with Country Love Song, a sprawling 27-track album that feels less like a record and more like a lived-in world: humid, lush, and quietly transcendent. Recorded in a cabin surrounded by mango trees above a surf break in Costa Rica, the album folds together folk, Texas slowcore, orchestral indie pop, Brazilian jazz, and alt-country into something deeply personal and unexpectedly expansive.

At the center of it all is Farge’s voice, warm, unguarded, and intimate, carrying the emotional weight of distance, memory, and belonging with a disarming ease.

There’s a sophisticated charm to Farge’s genre-fluid approach: slowcore slow burns like “Coastal Fog” sit beside the breezy Spanish bossa of “Frijoles,” featuring longtime Devendra Banhart collaborator and composer Gregory Rogove. Across the record, collaboration becomes its own language, fluid, playful, and rooted in trust.

Collaborator Little Wings joins Farge on “Memphis,” a warm alt-country tune that leans into tenderness without irony. Elsewhere, “A Little More Fun” delivers a playful Ferris wheel country blues moment that highlights the rare chemistry between Kevin Farge and Kyle Field. Together they “burn it down baião” on the restless, rhythmic “Two Bags of Rice.”

Farge’s ability to synthesise traditions is at its most infectious on “Good Girls,” where country storytelling collides with Latin rhythms and indie-rock propulsion. Meanwhile, “Never Gonna Back Down” builds strings, breakbeats, and detuned acoustic guitar into a working-class anthem of resilience and persistence.

The album also contains moments of striking stillness. “Mariel Pt. 2” is a meditative seaside reflection on impermanence and presence. “Sing for Me, Darling” evokes the awe of a vast and hostile tropical wilderness as a surfer who immerses himself in it in all weather conditions can attest. Instrumentals like “Pastoral” evoke a lineage stretching from Portuguese guitar to Costa Rican marimba traditions, reinforcing Farge’s place within the contemporary American Primitive guitar scene while expanding its geography.

Raised between cultures, an American father and Costa Rican mother, Farge spent the last six years living in his mother’s village, traveling by bicycle, surfing regularly, and recording music in a home studio shaped by its environment. That life infuses Country Love Song with its textures: jungle density, ocean air, and a sense of time that moves differently.

Across its 27 tracks, Country Love Song resists passive listening. It asks for presence, and rewards it with warmth, humor, and emotional clarity. It is a record about contentment without complacency, about exploring paradoxes and movement forward. 

As Farge puts it, “I grew up between worlds. This album is what it sounds like when those worlds stop arguing and start singing together. It’s about being still enough to hear everything.”

There’s a sense throughout Country Love Song that Farge is both observer and participant, hunter and hunted, rooted and wandering. The result is music that feels at once self-sufficient and searching, intimate and wide-open.

Gianni Ferraro is a Canadian artist whose work bridges indie rock, alternative, and pop influences, shaped by a lifelong connection to live music culture and performance.

Gianni’s roots in music run deep. He quite literally grew up inside one of Toronto’s most iconic live music spaces, The Cameron House, a legendary bar and creative hub founded in the 1980s by his mother and uncle. Raised in an environment filled with late-night sets, cigarette smoke, and constant sound, Ferraro’s early life was shaped by the pulse of live performance.

That environment naturally led him and his brothers to form a band under the name “Ferraro,” which went on to perform across Canada and share stages with major acts including Arkells, Big Sugar, Sam Roberts Band, and July Talk. These experiences laid the foundation for Gianni Ferraro’s solo artistic direction, blending raw live energy with a modern indie sensibility.

Now stepping into a new phase, Gianni is embracing a structured release approach: one song released on the first of every month, each paired with a visual release designed to deepen the narrative and emotional impact of the music. The series invites listeners to engage consistently throughout the year, building a layered experience over time.

The first release in the series is the new single, “The Emperor’s New Clothes,” a 2:53 track that fuses alternative rock, indie rock, and indie pop influences. The song reflects Gianni’s evolving sound; melodic yet gritty, introspective yet rhythm-driven. It sits comfortably alongside artists such as Cage the Elephant, Arctic Monkeys, Glass Animals, and Harry Styles, while still carving out a distinct identity.

Astor is a Danish-Spanish singer-songwriter and producer crafting music at the intersection of electronic pop and experimental sound. Drawing on industrial beats, cinematic synth textures, and raw, vulnerable vocals, Astor builds a world where the electronic never erases the human — it amplifies it.

His music is defined by contrast: control against surrender, strength against fragility, intimacy against sonic weight. Lyrically, he explores identity, relationships, and the disorienting moments when the ground shifts beneath you — where resistance becomes vulnerability, and vulnerability becomes growth.
