Emerging Colorado artist Luc Letourneau unveils his debut album, Next Life / One More Day Like This, a literate, gritty deconstruction of the “autopilot” life. Recorded in Boulder, the 10-track record functions as part Americana hymn and part indie-rock manifesto, anchored by an anti-perfectionist philosophy Letourneau calls the “premature spark.” By prioritising the raw, unvarnished life of a song over glossy studio production, the album offers a sound that is both timelessly rooted and strikingly fresh.

Influenced by the raw storytelling of Neil Young and the modern vulnerability of Big Thief, Luc’s debut balances the conversational grit of the contemporary indie scene with tender Americana soul. Tracks like the argumentative, faith-confronting “Awesomest Man” and the title track “Next Life” showcase a profound emotional honesty, inviting audiences to look beyond modern distractions to the “unresolvement” of the human experience. Perfect for fans of MJ Lenderman and authentic, image-rich storytelling, the album marks Letourneau as a definitive new voice in the independent landscape.

“Luc Letourneau’s debut album is a rare combination of raw honesty and intellectual friction,” says Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “He captures the tension of growing up in a world that often moves on autopilot. Next Life / One More Day Like This isn’t just an album; it’s a defiant stance against digital distraction and a pursuit of wisdom in a cynical world. Luc’s voice is one we expect to hear shaping the scene for years to come.”

About Luc Letourneau

Luc Letourneau crafts a raw, atmospheric brand of alternative folk that feels like a cinematic awakening to the modern world. With a voice that balances grit and vulnerability, his music is a collision of folk-protest honesty and indie-alt depth, grounded in acoustic storytelling yet charged with youthful energy.

Growing up in Boulder, Luc found inspiration in the tension between sanctuary and the unknown. His songwriting emerges from “liminal spaces”—the quiet of an unguarded morning, the historic wood-paneled halls of the Strater in Durango, and the visceral realization that the monsters we run from are often reflections of ourselves. His lyrics explore what he calls the “pole of life,” a tether to personal values in an era of constant noise.

Luc’s connection to music began in infancy and evolved through years of mastering the storytelling of Neil Young. He wrote the album’s title track at 12 and spent years refining his craft on Colorado stages, including three appearances at the Boulder International Film Festival. The album’s finale, “7 Years Here, 8 Years Gone,” serves as a literal time capsule, stitching in childhood recordings to create a sonic bridge between his 13-year-old self and his current adult perspective.

Career Highlights & Credentials

  • Managed his own artist identity, professional registrations with ASCAP and Songtrust
  • Developed a comprehensive digital media kit (2025)
  • Recorded and finalised debut studio album in Noulder
  • Six years performing locally in Colorado; three-time performer at Boulder International Film Festival

Following Next Life / One More Day Like This, Letourneau is preparing an instrumental EP for summer 2026 release and is already writing his second album. His debut project signals a definitive arrival: a record that prizes the unfinished, the sincere, and the small wisdoms that keep us honest.

Max Nemo Announces Debut Album ‘Nexus’: A Cinematic Journey Through Loss, Rebirth, and Connection

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD ALBUM | MEDIA ASSETS

Max Nemo is an independent artist and producer crafting music that bridges personal reflection and cinematic soundscapes. Her debut album, Nexus, is a testament to the transformative power of music, both a mirror of internal worlds and a conduit for shared human experience.

Independent artist and producer Max Nemo unveils her debut album, Nexus, a deeply intimate yet expansively cinematic work that transforms personal experiences into universal reflections. Written and produced over several years, the album blends orchestral textures and ethereal soundscapes, inviting listeners into a world where moments of grief, detachment, and rebirth coexist with quiet beauty and hope.

“Max Nemo comes from the Latin word nemo, meaning nobody and everybody,” explains Max Nemo. “At the heart of Max Nemo is the idea ‘I am, we are.’ My music feels like it belongs to anyone, a shared space for emotion and reflection.”

Nexus was conceived during a period of personal transition. Following a move back home from Los Angeles, Max found herself navigating feelings of loss, uncertainty, and self-reconstruction. Much of the album emerged from a small, quiet room with a single window, a vantage point on the outside world that mirrored her inner journey. In these moments of stillness, fragments of life, stories from friends and strangers, and subtle observations of light and change slowly wove together into the fabric of Nexus.

“Music is a form of transmission,” Max Nemo reflects. “It carries what I’ve learned through darkness and offers it back as warmth. Nexus is a quiet crack of light in the dark, inviting listeners to pause, breathe, and find their way forward.”

Classified as Alternative, Experimental, Indie, and Cinematic, Max Nemo’s work evokes comparisons to Bon Iver, Frank Ocean, and Imogen Heap. Nexus unfolds like a film without images, blending vulnerability with grandeur, and creating a listening experience both intimate and expansive.

Track Highlights

  • Fool – The album’s opening step into the unknown, a meditation on trusting oneself and the path ahead.
  • Nyad – Inspired by the endurance and perseverance of oceanic journeys, a reminder to keep moving through doubt.
  • Latter Love – A tender reflection on holding on and letting go, capturing the complexity of deep emotional attachment.
  • Sisyphus Madness – Love that endures time, distance, and change, akin to pushing a stone uphill with someone by your side.
  • The Catcher’s Mitt – A grounding reminder of identity in a noisy, overwhelming world.
  • La La Land – A vocal-free interlude honoring dreams and the struggles inherent in pursuing them.
  • F&F – Contemplation on the fleeting beauty and fragility of life.
  • 2,22 – A quiet, luminous celebration of small moments that make life feel alive.
  • The Way I Do – Looking back with pride and acceptance at the chosen path of life.
  • O – A three-chapter reflection on panic, rhythm, and the cycles of destruction and rebirth.

“Max Nemo’s Nexus is a rare debut that feels both deeply personal and universally resonant,” says music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “Her ability to translate moments of vulnerability, transformation, and quiet introspection into expansive, cinematic soundscapes sets her apart in the contemporary music landscape. This is an album that doesn’t just invite you to listen, it invites you to inhabit a world, feel its textures, and discover pieces of yourself within it.”

Katie Dauson Unveils Psychedelic New Single “The Company We Keep” with Innovative 3D Vinyl Release

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD SONG | MEDIA ASSETS

Artwork Credits: Katie Dauson | Press Images Credits: James Nickle

Independent artist Katie Dauson has released her new single, “The Company We Keep,” a swirling, 1960s-inspired psychedelic rock track that blends vintage influences with a playful, modern physical release concept. The song will be issued digitally alongside a special 7-inch vinyl picture disc, featuring a 3D design and cover artwork, with 3D glasses included in the packaging, turning the record into a fully immersive visual and musical experience.

“The Company We Keep” came together unexpectedly during a quiet evening at home. Dauson had already planned several early-2026 releases, but something about the schedule didn’t feel complete. Known for her fondness for symmetry, she prefers to release music in pairs for vinyl editions, and with three songs prepared, she knew she needed one more.

That missing song arrived in an instant.

“One evening after dinner, I was sitting at the kitchen table with my dad, sipping a glass of wine, when the words just hit me between the eyes,” Dauson recalls. “According to him, my face went completely blank. He thought something was wrong, but I was fine, I just grabbed a pen and paper and wrote the song right there.”

The resulting track captures the spirit of classic 1960s psychedelic rock, both lyrically and sonically. The song tells the story of someone who isolates themselves from the world and watches life drift by from a distance. Yet beneath the introspective mood lies a thread of optimism. In the final verse, the character prepares to sleep in anticipation of a new day, and notably, the pre-chorus disappears after that moment, a subtle musical shift that Dauson believes hints at hope and change.

Musically, “The Company We Keep” draws inspiration from the experimental spirit of the 1960s rock era, particularly bands like Strawberry Alarm Clock, whose colourful sound helped define psychedelic rock. That era’s willingness to experiment with new textures, from unconventional instrumentation to effects, shaped Dauson’s approach to the track.

Interestingly, restraint became part of the creative process. While she initially planned to use an array of effects pedals on the rhythm guitar, she ultimately chose a cleaner sound.

For the recording, Dauson played a left-handed 2012 Gibson SG Standard in Cherry, a guitar whose tone and style evoke the classic rock era that inspired the track.

The single was engineered, mixed, and mastered by James Nickle, continuing the long-standing collaboration behind many of Dauson’s recordings. Dauson wrote the song’s music and lyrics and performed rhythm guitar on the track.

With its nostalgic psychedelic sound, thoughtful storytelling, and a visually striking 3D vinyl edition, “The Company We Keep” offers listeners both a sonic journey and a collectable piece of art, celebrating the adventurous spirit of 1960s rock while presenting it through a distinctly modern lens.

Default User Announce ‘Rotation Demon’, A Hypnotic Collision of Techno, Trance, and Industrial Dreamscapes

LISTEN HERE | MEDIA ASSETS

Default User, the collaborative project between New York City producers Aria and 5thPlanet, unveil their long-awaited debut project Rotation Demon. Blending techno, trance, ambient, noise, and experimental electronica, the release draws from years spent navigating the city’s underground DIY music scene and the stark poetry of its industrial margins.

The duo first met in Brooklyn in 2018, bonding instantly over a shared love of techno, late-night bar hopping, and the unfiltered spirit of New York’s experimental communities. After years of working independently, they came together without a clear end goal, only a mutual desire to explore sound. Their collaboration evolved organically, absorbing influences from ambient music, trance, electro, classic rock, and the raw textures of the local noise scene. Three years later, Rotation Demon emerged as a cohesive sonic journey that bridges those worlds.

The project’s origins lie in long nocturnal excursions through the city’s forgotten industrial spaces. These environments, cold, alienating, yet strangely intimate, became a catalyst. Eventually, the duo discovered a decrepit piano, whose worn character and haunting resonances became the skeletal framework of the record. From those murky recordings, they constructed a soundscape that feels both futuristic and deeply human.

Fans of artists such as John 00 Fleming, Floating Points, Dave Angel, DJ Stingray 313, Legowelt, Frankie Bones, Joey Beltram, Ken Ishii, Crystal Castles, and exael will find familiar touchpoints in Default User’s immersive, genre-fluid approach.

“Rotation Demon is a striking debut that feels both futuristic and deeply personal,” says  Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “Default User has created a world that pulls from the grit of New York’s underground and the emotional depth of ambient and trance, resulting in a record that’s as immersive on headphones as it is on a dancefloor. It’s rare to hear a project that balances experimentation and accessibility so naturally; this is just the beginning for them.”

Tracklist

Bad Gateway
Recalling the brash optimism of the early 2010s, the duo relives their formative years as bedroom recording artists, channeling nostalgia through fractured club rhythms.

Paradise Planet
After crash-landing on a mysterious world, they discover a utopia of euphoric ravers—yet a quiet unease lingers beneath the surface.

Rubber Moses
Named in reference to Robert Moses, whose vision of urban development reshaped and fractured communities, the track reflects the hostile atmospheres that inspired the project’s sonic architecture.

Xhemicals
A descent through the urban abyss launches the duo into the cosmos, tunneling through a pulsar that irreversibly alters their consciousness.

Rotation Demon
Following this transformation, they reach a heightened state of awareness. Upon returning to Paradise Planet, they confront the duality of meaning and emptiness in what once felt like home.

Amnesia
A vulnerable and unresolved reflection, closing the journey with ambiguity and emotional residue.

Matthew Beachy, professionally known as Lil Crush, The Baby Goat, announces the release of his highly anticipated new album, Reel Music, a bold, immersive project that solidifies his position as one of the most dynamic and genre-defying artists of his generation. Spanning 30 tracks and 1 hour and 31 minutes, the album is a multidimensional journey through emotion, sound, and cultural fusion.

Born in Minneapolis and raised between Bogotá, Colombia and the United States, Lil Crush embodies the spirit of dual heritage. A shapeshifter by nature, Beachy wears many masks, and every one of them speaks truth. The album Reel Music marks two decades of performance for Lil Crush, now 25. His career began at just five years old, when he first took the stage in Bogotá. This milestone project reflects that journey, bringing together the full range of artistic personas he has developed over the years.

Reel Music, is a testament to this fearless creative vision. Across the album, Lil Crush collaborates with a wide range of artists, including Colombian Crush, THR333, The Latin Prince, Fa’id, BRIZO, and Beachy himself, expanding his musical universe while remaining grounded in emotional authenticity.

Beyond his work as Lil Crush, Beachy expands his artistic identity through multiple creative personas. As The Latin Prince, he channels the vibrant sounds of reggaeton, bachata, cumbia, corridos, and vallenato, honouring his Afro-Latin roots while pushing Latin music into bold new territory. Rather than replicating tradition, he reimagines it, building bridges between generations and genres.

Under his given name, Beachy, he is also a producer and sonic architect. He produces his own work as well as the experimental projects of THR333 (The Hardship Reveal 333), the boundary-pushing Minneapolis-based band he founded in 2024. Through THR333, he merges experimental rock with forward-thinking production, crafting music that defies categorisation and resonates deeply.

Lil Crush first gained widespread attention with his breakout single “Suni Lee,” an Olympic-inspired anthem dedicated to fellow Minnesotan gymnast Suni Lee. The song became a cultural moment, inspiring young people to chase greatness and embrace their inner “Baby Goat.” In recognition of its impact, a large mural featuring both Suni and Lil Crush, along with the lyrics from the anthem he wrote in her honour, has been painted in bold lettering on a wall in St. Paul the twin city to his hometown Minneapolis, Minnesota. From 2019 to 2022, he was signed to the Minneapolis hip hop powerhouse WEON Records, where he developed his sound and built key creative partnerships.

In 2020, Lil Crush launched his annual Baby Goat mixtape series, inspired by Lil Wayne’s iconic Carter era. Released alongside his official studio albums, the series quickly became a defining extension of his artistry, with the first official instalment titled Baby Goat 2. The project gained notable industry attention, earning consistent placement throughout the year on the popular “Monday to Monday” Spotify playlist curated by Gary Vaynerchuk and Mike Boyd Jr..

In 2021, Beachy launched his own creative label and brand, Planet Crush. By 2025, the Minnesota-based label had expanded globally, signing and developing artists, bands, and producers across multiple genres. More than a label, Planet Crush is a thriving artistic ecosystem built on fearless creativity and emotional truth.

For Lil Crush, music is more than sound; it is a multidimensional experience and a platform for identity, evolution, and connection. He refuses to be boxed into any genre or label.

He doesn’t call himself a rapper; he calls himself an artist.

Whether performing solo or lighting up stages with THR333, Lil Crush is more than a musician; he is a movement.

“With Reel Music, Lil Crush isn’t just releasing an album, he’s unveiling a universe,” says music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR. “Thirty tracks, zero boundaries. He moves effortlessly between cultures, genres, and identities, and somehow makes it all feel cohesive, intentional, and deeply human. This project doesn’t chase trends; it sets its own frequency. Lil Crush is proving that evolution isn’t a phase for him, it’s the foundation.”

Dailla Unleashes New Single ‘lalalove me’: A Defiant Alt-Pop Rock Anthem About Pressure, Judgment, and Staying True to Yourself

LISTEN HERE | DOWNLOAD SONG | MEDIA ASSETS

Dailla is a singer, songwriter, and composer who writes from the heart and performs from the gut. Drawing inspiration from her background as a psychology student, her music explores how people think, feel, and connect, touching on love, confusion, and the quiet frustration of living in a society that often asks us to be less.

“I can become bolder, louder, and a little more out of line on stage,” Dailla explains. “It’s my way of going against society’s pressure to be perfect at all times.”

A true multi-instrumentalist, Dailla plays piano, guitar, drums, and vocals, giving her complete creative freedom to shape her sound from the inside out. Raised on classic rock, she grew up surrounded by raw guitars, big emotions, and unfiltered intensity, elements that still echo strongly through her musical DNA today. Her modern influences include Olivia Rodrigo and Taylor Swift, whose emotionally driven pop inspires her to create music that is both bold and vulnerable.

Blending alternative pop with deep, introspective lyricism, Dailla crafts immersive sonic landscapes filled with raw emotion and ethereal textures. With every release, she continues to refine her artistic identity, pushing creative boundaries while maintaining an intimate and authentic connection with her audience.

Now, Dailla releases her powerful new single ‘lalalove me’, a 2-minute-and-33-second alt-pop rock track that confronts pressure, judgment, and the courage it takes to stay true to yourself.

The song was born out of a deeply frustrating industry experience. After seeking guidance from so-called professionals, Dailla was met with criticism rather than support.

“At that meeting, I was told I wasn’t interesting enough, that I should shave my head or dye my hair red to be ‘something’,” Dailla recalls. “They came completely unprepared. They didn’t know my songs and were looking at my Instagram for the first time during the meeting. They talked about me as if I wasn’t even there. No one really cared about my music or who I am as an artist. ‘lalalove me’ came from that frustration and anger, from being judged and almost written off without any real effort to understand me as an artist or a person.”

‘lalalove me’ speaks to a world that is quick to label and slow to listen, continuing Dailla’s signature storytelling approach. It’s a reminder that not every opinion deserves to shape you, and that staying true to yourself can be the most powerful form of resistance. The message is clear: even when others doubt you, judge you, or don’t know how to “handle” you, trust your voice and keep moving toward your dream.

Musically, the track blends alternative pop-rock with a darker, emotional edge. A distinctive, droning electric guitar motif runs throughout the song, supported by rougher, more forceful drums. Dailla’s vocal performance is raw, expressive, and emotionally charged, amplifying the honesty of the lyrics and underscoring her authenticity.

The music video for “Lalalove Me” works with the concept of four different versions of Dailla competing with each other to prove which one is the “best.” Barbie Dailla, Real Dailla, Psycho Dailla, and Bossy Dailla meet in one place — at a job interview, where they must justify their own existence.

Each of them represents a different side of her personality, a different response to social pressure, and a different way of coping with prejudice. While “Barbie Dailla” tries to fit in and meet expectations, “Bossy Dailla” appears confident and uncompromising, “Psycho Dailla” unleashes suppressed anger and raw emotions, and the authentic Dailla searches for balance between them.

With a touch of exaggeration, the video portrays the inner conflict and the absurdity of a situation in which a person is forced to “choose” who they are supposed to be — instead of simply being themselves. Dailla collaborated with Native Films on the production of the music video.

“Dailla is an artist who leads with honesty and fearlessness,” says Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR.  “With ‘lalalove me’, she turns personal frustration into a powerful statement about self-worth, creative integrity, and resilience. It’s a song that captures exactly where she is right now; unapologetic, emotionally raw, and ready to be heard.”

Previous singles such as ‘Middle Stone’, ‘Hide and Seek’, ‘Running Wild’, ‘Cupid’, ‘Garden’, ‘Some Love’, ‘Twisted Heart’, and ‘It’s You’ showcase Dailla’s signature mix of catchy melodies, playful textures, and sharp production, a sound that has helped define her artistic identity and grow her fanbase. With hooks made for dancing and lyrics made to sing along to, Dailla’s music lingers long after the last note fades.

With ‘lalalove me’, Dailla doesn’t just release a song; she makes a statement.

Nuclear Cowboy Unleashes New EP ‘If You Need Me, I’ll Be There’

    LISTEN HERE | MEDIA ASSETS

“When we leave home, how long should we miss it? When a relationship ends, how long should we reminisce on the good times? When someone dies, how long should we mourn? These songs live inside those unanswered questions.” – Nuclear Cowboy

Brooklyn-based artist Nuclear Cowboy makes music built on contradiction. Raised in rural Montana and now living in New York City, his work exists where opposing forces collide: folk and electronics, intimacy and spectacle, sincerity and absurdity. The result is a sound that resists easy classification, music shaped by a world where binary frameworks increasingly fall short.

For Nuclear Cowboy, art is fundamentally about communication. He approaches songwriting as a way of “reporting back to earth,” documenting personal discoveries in hopes they resonate beyond the self. That philosophy informs not only his lyrics, but also his refusal to settle into rigid genre boundaries. Each release feels less like a statement and more like an ongoing conversation.

After quietly releasing two albums in 2020 and 2022 with little expectation or visibility, Nuclear Cowboy began gaining momentum through a steady run of singles and live performances in 2024 and 2025. That consistency paid off: in 2025 alone, his audience grew from roughly 1,500 to nearly 100,000 monthly listeners, marking a turning point from private experimentation to a more public, resonant body of work.

This new five-track EP is his first multi-track release since that growth. Framed as a keepsake in the truest sense, the project explores what it means to move forward without disowning the past, how to honor where you come from without becoming trapped by nostalgia. Across its runtime, the EP grapples with growth, gratitude, and the complicated emotions that accompany change and goodbye.

Sonically, If You Need Me, I’ll Be Here unfolds as a subtle progression. Opening tracks “Keepsake” and “Easy Come” lean into alt-folk textures layered with understated electronic elements. “Mirage of Me” and “Bite the Bullet” expand into a more alt-pop and electronic palette, before closing with “Find Myself,” a brief, intimate, synth-driven finale. Influenced by artists such as Bon Iver, Bibio, John Maus, and Tunng, the EP represents a shift away from dance-oriented production toward a more vulnerable, stripped-back sound.

Onstage, Nuclear Cowboy treats performance as a three-dimensional extension of the music itself, blending dance, humor, and vulnerability to create a sense of genuine connection. Following the release of Keepsake, he will unveil an official music video for the title track, release nine additional singles throughout the year, and return to live performances.

If You Need Me, I’ll Be Here is not a reinvention, but a refinement, an artist learning how to carry his past forward without letting it define him.

2heart2crash Announces Debut Record ‘22’A Dark, Danceable Reflection on Identity, Technology, and Emotional Honesty

    LISTEN HERE | MEDIA ASSETS

2heart2crash is a post-punk, new-wave, and synth-pop artist blending dark atmospheres with danceable energy. His work explores themes of identity, communication, technology, and emotional vulnerability, combining music and visual art into a cohesive and immersive creative vision.

Italian-born artist 2heart2crash (real name Alessio Grancini) unveils his new eight-track project, a 20-minute, 20-second journey through post-punk, new-wave, and synth-pop. Dark yet danceable and rooted in a strong goth ethos, the record captures a mature moment of reflection shaped by more than a decade of creative and personal evolution in the United States.

Born and raised in Italy, 2heart2crash developed his passion for music at a young age after witnessing a series of formative live events in his hometown. Performances by international bands created an atmosphere of extreme mosh pits and unprecedented energy that left a lasting impression and set the foundation for his artistic direction.

He began his career as the lead singer of the band Edge in Imola, Emilia Romagna. The band’s first single, “Edge,” gained over 6.5K views on BlankTV, one of the largest DIY platforms for punk, hardcore, metal, indie, and underground music. Shortly after, he and fellow band members made the decision to move to Los Angeles to experience the music scene at a professional level and immerse themselves in a city that continues to influence global entertainment and culture.

Alongside his musical journey, Grancini pursued studies in architecture and engineering, later expanding his practice into visual and multimedia work. He produced and released a number of music and video art projects, including Graves by Parkshores featuring SuckerPunk. The work gained attention from platforms such as Earmilk, 15MinutesNews, FMS, and Alfitude.

Now based in San Francisco, this latest record was written and produced entirely in his room during a one-year stay in a hacker house near North Beach. Surrounded by technology founders and startup culture, the environment deeply influenced the album’s themes and sonic palette.

“This record is the result of unfiltered honesty,” says 2heart2crash. “It’s made up of the conversations I’ve had with myself along the way. Admitting my mistakes and the failures of communication that followed me helped me release some of the ghosts that kept reminding me how bad things once were.”

The project explores the emotional tension between digital life and real-world connections. “My own sense of digital decay comes from how much time I spend immersed in media,” 2heart2crash explains. “No one knows you better than your devices. Texting, in particular, fascinates and disturbs me, not just its utility, but the anxieties, rhythms, and expectations it carries.”

Themes of expectation, reality, and quiet depression run throughout the record, alongside a sense of self-awareness and growth. “This reflection isn’t meant to make me darker. It’s simply awareness, understanding how my heart works and how it connects, or sometimes fails to connect, with others.”

The artist also reflects on the parallels between the tech and creative worlds. “Many people misunderstand the tech scene. I saw firsthand the effort, the risk, and the emotional toll that comes with building something from nothing. Artists and entrepreneurs are not so different. Both must believe in a vision long before anyone else does.”

The project’s visual direction was led by Zeo Zhang (AQingZeo), with post-production handled by Cole Daly. Zhang is a multidisciplinary designer and creative technologist whose work has been exhibited internationally and recognised by major design awards. Daly is a VFX and CG artist known for his work with internationally recognised artists, including Katy Perry and PinkPantheress. Final music production and mastering were handled by the Bay Area studio Johnny Hits.

Borovsky Releases New Single “A Leap in the Dark”

Swiss singer-songwriter Borovsky returns with his latest single, “A Leap in the Dark,” a powerful and emotionally charged pop rock track that explores the tension between uncertainty and excitement when stepping into the unknown.

Borovsky (vocals & guitar), who grew up in the Basel region of Switzerland, has been writing pop and rock songs since the 1980s. His debut album, Top of the Rock, was released in autumn 2016, marking the beginning of a steady creative journey that has since produced several albums, EPs and singles, including “A Question of Time,” “Skyscraper” and “The One.”

With “A Leap in the Dark,” Borovsky continues to build on his signature nostalgic pop rock sound, drawing inspiration from the rich melodic and emotional traditions of the 1980s. Fans of Simply Red, Simple Minds, Chris Rea, Yes, Billy Idol and the era of classic 80s pop rock will find a familiar yet fresh energy in this new release.

The song was written in London and is deeply personal.

“I wrote ‘A Leap in the Dark’ after leaving a company where I had worked for roughly 17 years,” says Borovsky. “The song captures that moment when you feel both concern about the unknown and the thrill of a new beginning. It’s really about restarts, taking risks and making big decisions in life.”

Blending reflective lyrics with uplifting melodies and atmospheric production, “A Leap in the Dark” resonates with anyone facing change or searching for the courage to take the next step. The track highlights Borovsky’s ability to translate universal experiences into heartfelt songs that connect across generations.

“With ‘A Leap in the Dark,’ Borovsky captures the thrill and uncertainty of life’s turning points, wrapping it all in the lush, nostalgic pop rock sound that fans of the 80s will instantly recognise and love,” music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR shares.

Following the release of “Get Ready,” Toronto’s versatile, genre-defying singer-songwriter Katie Dauson returns with her infectious new single, “Will You Won’t You,” produced by James Nickle.

Drawing inspiration from 1950s rockabilly, especially The Crickets, as well as the 1970s revivalists who reimagined the style, including Blondie (who famously covered a Crickets song on their 1978 album Parallel Lines) and George Thorogood, Dauson blends vintage energy with a modern punch.

“I love George Thorogood’s guitar playing, and the fact that he added a saxophone player to his band in 1980,” she explains. “Saxophone is such an important instrument in rock and roll and rockabilly, it really elevated his music. Rockabilly is so upbeat and enjoyable. When I listen to a rockabilly record at home, I’ll tap my feet, sing along, and just feel uplifted. I love how some of the ’70s groups took that ’50s style and modernised it with more instrumentation and a different vibe.”

“Will You Won’t You” lives comfortably in the worlds of Rockabilly, Rock and Roll, and Country, balancing retro swing with contemporary edge. Dauson recorded the rhythm guitar using a left-handed G&L Comanche in Shoreline Gold, drawn to its distinctive Z-coil pickups for their unique tonal character. She also added a fuzz pedal to inject a touch of modern dirt and grit into the mix.

“With ‘Will You Won’t You,’ Katie Dauson delivers a vibrant, toe-tapping anthem that channels the spirit of classic rockabilly while injecting it with a bold, modern edge,” music publicist Danielle Holian, Decent Music PR, shares. “The track captures her signature blend of vintage inspiration and fearless individuality. It’s playful, gritty, and irresistibly catchy. This single really showcases Katie’s ability to honour the roots of rock and roll while making the sound entirely her own.”

Written early in the morning, when inspiration tends to strike as her mind feels fresh and rejuvenated, the song captures that spontaneous spark. Above all, Dauson hopes for one thing: that “Will You Won’t You” puts a smile on listeners’ faces.
