Canadian-born, Bristol-bred, London-based singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Noah Villeneuve today releases his highly anticipated debut solo album, Songs of Noah Villeneuve, a 10-track collection of melancholic indie folk, alternative rock, Americana and pop-infused songwriting that charts a transformative period of personal reflection, sobriety and emotional growth.

Northern Irish-born, Leeds-based singer-songwriter Lucy Robinson returns with her latest single, Let Down; a vibrant, feel-good alt-pop release that encourages listeners to slow down, switch off, and give themselves permission to breathe.

Singer-songwriter Chris Pannella has released his deeply personal new single, “Holdin On”. The song serves as both a tribute and a reflection on loss, inspired by the life-changing experiences that shaped Pannella’s journey as an artist and as a person.

Blending heartfelt lyrics with reflective melodies, “Holdin On” captures the experience of carrying someone’s memory long after they’re gone.

The story behind “Holdin On” begins in October 2021, when Pannella reconnected with one of his closest friends, Thomas, after weeks of focusing on a demanding new job. The two spent time together in Colorado, sharing conversations about life, philosophy, future plans, and the excitement of what lay ahead.

Just days later, on October 13, 2021—Pannella’s birthday—everything changed.

After waking up to birthday messages, including one from Thomas wishing him a happy birthday, Pannella waited for his friend to arrive so they could begin celebrating. When Thomas never showed, confusion quickly turned to heartbreak after a devastating phone call revealed that he had suffered a fatal heart attack while at work.

“I couldn’t process it at first,” Pannella recalls. “I reread that message a hundred times, then read it again. I was the last person from our group of friends to see him alive. It sent a shockwave through our community.”

What was meant to be a celebration with friends became a day of grief. Thomas was widely loved and remembered for his authenticity, kindness, and unwavering support of those around him.

“Thomas was one of the biggest supporters of my music,” says Pannella. “At the time, I was still an amateur. I didn’t even sing, even though he always encouraged me to. I ended up waiting until last year to finally start.”

The loss left a lasting mark.

“It is a brutal experience to lose somebody who understands you,” Pannella says. “Every October 13th, I think about that day.”

Through “Holdin On,” Pannella channels those emotions into a song dedicated to the people who leave an unforgettable impact on our lives.

“This is a song for the lost,” he explains. “For the people who changed the course of your life. For the friends we’ve lost and the memories that never leave us.”

While Thomas will never have the opportunity to hear the finished song, Pannella believes his friend would have loved it.

“Even though my friend will never listen to it, I know he would have loved it.”

The Orange Blossoms have released their latest album Green Light, a ten-track record rooted in post-punk and alternative rock, drawing heavily on New York’s musical history and the romantic mythology of the city’s downtown art scene. The album features artwork by Giovanni Weissman and photography by Nora Rock. The band describes the release with characteristic irreverence: “I hope it inspires someone to escape the trappings of music theory,” they commented.

Producer Gordon Raphael (who produced The Strokes and Regina Spektor) played a central role in shaping the album’s sound and atmosphere. He shared, “These songs are so fantastic that I don’t understand why (Sutton’s) not being hailed as the new generation’s Bob Bowie or David Dylan… it’s that fuckin’ good really!”

Recorded at Mercy Sound in New York across two sessions (October 17, 2024 and June 14–16, 2025), Green Light was produced by Gordon Raphael and engineered by Matt DeSimone. All songs were written by Will Sutton and performed by Will Sutton (guitar, vocals), Jonesy Costa-Schmell (bass, backing vocals), James Li (guitar), with Jamie Walker on drums for tracks 1–2 and Kate Jacobs on drums for tracks 3–10.

The album’s sound is shaped by a deep engagement with New York’s musical legacy and the idea of a city that exists as much in memory as in reality. “We are definitely students of rock history, and especially New York rock history,” the band explains. “There’s this dreamlike, romantic version of New York that exists in the minds and memories of so many. If you walk alone late at night in a haze for long enough, you can still find it. There are so many ghosts on the streets and the past forever haunts the present.”

Stylistically, Green Light blends post-punk and alternative rock, with influences ranging from The Strokes, The Velvet Underground, Ramones, and Arctic Monkeys. The record moves between dissonant experimentation, melodic power-pop, and noisy improvisation, reflecting both the band’s early songwriting experiments and their more recent, refined compositions.

The band credits producer Raphael with immediately understanding their vision and fostering a relaxed, creative environment in the studio. “Before every vocal take, he would say from the control room, ‘have fun,’” they recall. “It was such a simple but effective way of taking the pressure off. His methods exist completely outside the spectrum of what is expected from a modern hit-seeking producer. He’s a true artist in every sense.”

TRACK BY TRACK

Avenue A: Written as an experiment in dissonant harmony made accessible. “I wrote the opening chords on a whiteboard, then spent two minutes finding a rhythm that would make it work.” The overall song took three years to complete.

God Save The East Village: A long-gestating composition built over three and a half years, structured as a series of movements inspired by different eras of punk history.

Vanity Affair: An early “evil funk-punk” track exploring the extremes of ambition and the distortions of fame.

Friends Of Triton: Written during a period of teenage depression, reflecting alienation and boredom while sitting in a 12th grade classroom.

Waiting For Someone (To Come My Way): Composed in five minutes, inspired by Tom Petty’s famous anecdote about rapid songwriting.

Your Face Is In Asphalt: The final track written for the album and a personal favorite. The verse progression references a local band, Bovine Bandits.

Watch The Skies: Influenced by Kim Gordon’s memoir, blending early Sonic Youth-inspired noise with improvisational energy reminiscent of Crazy Horse.

Sentimental Blues: Written while looking out over Union Square, aiming for emotional honesty. “In retrospect, I think I went too far.”

30 Minutes To Change Your Life: A straightforward, melodic power-pop song built around one of Sutton’s favorite melodies.

Milestones: Written at LaGuardia Airport’s Terminal B, capturing a moment of transition and reflection tied to a specific place in time.

Across its runtime, Green Light captures moments of youthful experimentation, urban reflection, and emotional honesty, balancing raw energy with introspective songwriting. The Orange Blossoms position the album as both a tribute to and reinterpretation of New York’s cultural history—an attempt to preserve its ghosts while reshaping them through contemporary sound.

With more than 100 million streams across fan-favorite tracks including “8 O 8,” “Runnin’,” “Django,” and “BATMAN,” rising hip-hop powerhouse J€AN-MARC continues his unstoppable ascent with the release of his latest single and music video, “Chrome Heart Jeans.”

Born in the small Nordic town of Porvoo, Finland, to an Ecuadorian father and Finnish mother, J€AN-MARC’s journey has been anything but ordinary. After relocating to Union City and later Paterson, New Jersey, he was exposed to an environment marked by limited opportunities, crime, and adversity. Rather than allowing those circumstances to define him, he found purpose through music—a calling that transformed his life and inspired him to create music rooted in truth, perseverance, and self-belief.

A completely self-taught audio engineer and lyrical craftsman, J€AN-MARC has cultivated a distinctive sound that blends West Coast energy with East Coast lyricism. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Shoreline Mafia, G-Eazy, and Mike Sherm, he has earned a reputation for delivering motivational records that resonate through both authenticity and charisma.

His breakthrough hit “8 O 8” became a viral sensation on TikTok in 2022, reaching #1 on Spotify’s USA Viral 50 chart and #8 worldwide. The momentum led to his first major licensing agreement with 10K Projects in Los Angeles, now operating under Atlantic Records, further cementing his status as one of hip-hop’s fastest-rising independent success stories.

“Chrome Heart Jeans” serves as both a celebration of J€AN-MARC’s roots and a statement of confidence. At the heart of the record is the standout hook:

“I’m in my home jersey but you feelin’ away…”

The line functions as a clever triple entendre, referencing both his home state of New Jersey and the competitive tension he continues to encounter within the local rap scene. The follow-up lyric,

“And yeah my Chrome Heart Jeans got you feelin’ a way,”

addresses the envy and resentment often sparked by success, transforming personal experiences into a universally relatable message about ambition and perseverance.

The accompanying visual doubles down on J€AN-MARC’s devotion to the Garden State. Shot exclusively in iconic New Jersey locations, the video opens with the artist arriving aboard a luxury jet at Teterboro Airport before transitioning into the first-ever digitally released performance of “Chrome Heart Jeans,” a record previously experienced only through select live performances in New Jersey and New York City.

Throughout the visual, J€AN-MARC proudly sports a blood-red New Jersey Devils jersey, reinforcing the song’s themes of hometown pride and unwavering loyalty to the place that shaped him. Directed and beautifully captured by emerging New Jersey cinematographer Phillip Melendez, the video showcases the artist’s continued creative evolution while setting the stage for an ambitious run of releases and cinematic projects throughout the summer.

Multi-instrumentalist and producer Casiocenz returns with a bold and expansive second full-length album, “kas-ee-oh-chenz”, released in 2026. Spanning 40 minutes and 33 seconds across 11 tracks, the record continues the project’s commitment to genre fluidity—moving through psych rock, post punk, indie, electronic, new wave, goth, and experimental soundscapes.

Following the 2023 debut “Party of One”—which introduced Casiocenz as a wide-ranging and stylistically unbound creative outlet—the new album pushes further into sonic exploration, embracing both structured songwriting and spontaneous, process-driven composition.

What began in 2006 as a side project outside of a primary band has gradually evolved into a unified artistic identity. Over time, multiple creative offshoots were consolidated under the Casiocenz name, forming a single evolving platform for musical experimentation.

The 2023 debut album Party of One established this foundation, blending post punk, emo, indie, and folk influences. “kas-ee-oh-chenz” expands that palette further, incorporating psych-driven textures and more experimental production approaches while maintaining emotional immediacy and song-focused writing.

A third album is already in progress.

“Casiocenz is really just a safe space for me to explore. It is not constricted by rules, genres, or expectations of any kind. It is ever evolving. This record ‘kas-ee-oh-chenz’ is just a snapshot of where my creative being was living during the 2 years of its making.”

Built from a spontaneous bassline discovery, the track evolved organically around a riff that felt familiar yet unplaceable—allowing the writing process to unfold freely.

Transmission (psych interlude)
A short transition piece extending the final chord of “Mind Grapes,” designed as a drifting, space-like continuation.

Mr. Tax Man (classic rock)
A tongue-in-cheek classic rock track influenced by frustration and admiration for the genre, channeling the energy of bands like The Who while reflecting on an unexpected tax bill.

Hot Stuff (80s hair metal)
A playful homage to glam-era aesthetics and songwriting themes, written as a tribute within the style’s expressive tradition.

Luna_THE SNAKE OVERLORD (psych metal)
Created during a focused four-day creative sprint, this track builds from a drum experiment into a layered psych-metal arrangement, inspired by the artist’s pet snake, Luna.

Who Will Save My Soul (post punk)
A minimal, drone-based composition built around looping drums, pulsating bass synth, and a largely untouched one-take vocal performance.

The Limit Does Not Exist (electronic)
An exploration into electronic production techniques, driven by drum machines, evolving synth textures, and intuitive vocal writing.

Why Does It Happen (indie)
A long-held guitar progression finally developed into a fully realized song during an extended writing session.

Human Person (new wave)
Inspired by early 2000s improvisations and Talking Heads-style rhythmic experimentation, this track embraces playful abstraction and rhythmic oddity.

When It Hits The Fan (emo/post punk)
A love song that evolved from an acoustic foundation into a fuller arrangement featuring mallets, strings, and mandolin.
